Some apple wholesalers are applying a new preservative coating to apples to keep them fresher longer. To wash this coating off simply submerge the apples for 10 minutes in our Apple Prep solution, rinse with clean water, and wipe dry with a clean cloth before dipping in the caramel. You can filter out and reuse the Apple Prep for as long as it's effective.
